It’s Always Smoothie Season

Who doesn’t love a smoothie? No matter what the temperature is outside, smoothies are the perfect treat, meal replacement or after-workout replenisher. Smoothies are so versatile. Whether in a glass or a bowl topped with granola and fruit, people of all ages can’t get enough of them.

There are hundreds of smoothie and bowl recipes out there, but did you know you can add kombucha to your blend to take it from ho-hum to wow? Kombucha comes in all kinds of flavors, giving you endless possibilities.

We put together a few of our favorite smoothie and bowl recipes for you to try. We’re betting you will love them as much as we do and may never settle for a boring smoothie again! Feel free to add your preferred protein powder, collagen peptides, spirulina powder, bee pollen or any other add-in you enjoy. You really can’t go wrong with these recipes and can save a ton of money when you make your own. Cost isn’t the only reason we prefer making our own smoothies. We like being able to control the ingredients, mix up the flavors and make exactly how much we want. z

Strawberry Basil Smoothie

1 cup strawberries
1 frozen banana
⅓ cup Brew Dr. Strawberry Basil Kombucha
¼ cup coconut milk
1 tsp hemp seeds

Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth. Enjoy!

Clear Mind Smoothie

1 frozen banana
3/4 cup blueberries
½ cup raspberries
1 tbsp chia seeds
3/4 cup Brew Dr. Clear Mind Kombucha
¼ cup coconut milk
Splash of vanilla extract

Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth. Top with hemp seeds & berries (optional). Enjoy!

Happiness Smoothie Bowl

2 frozen bananas
1 cup frozen strawberry & blueberry blend
½ bottle Brew Dr. Happiness Kombucha

Blend ingredients in a high speed blender or food processor and let run until smooth. Add to a bowl and top with blueberries, strawberries, nectarine, almond flakes and hemp hearts. Enjoy!

Love Smoothie

1 frozen banana
1 cup frozen berry mix (blueberry, raspberry, strawberry)
¾ can (or ⅔ bottle) Brew Dr. Love Kombucha

Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth. Enjoy!

Spiced Apple Smoothie Bowl

2 frozen bananas
½ apple, peeled
½ cup Brew Dr Spiced Apple Kombucha
Splash of vanilla extract

Blend ingredients in a high-speed blender or food processor and let run until smooth. Add to a bowl and top with apples, granola, pumpkin seeds, a pinch of cinnamon. Garnish with cinnamon sticks (optional). Enjoy!

Clear Mind Berry Spinach Smoothie (from @Olive.eeeats)

1 cup frozen mixed berry blend
1/2 cup bananas
1 handful organic spinach
1T flax meal, chia, hemp seeds
1/2 cup Brew Dr. Clear Mind kombucha
1/2 cup fresh squeeze OJ
1/4 cup pomegranate juice

Blend & enjoy! Add coconut yogurt to the bottom for some extra probiotics and yummy taste.

Mint Lemonade Mango Smoothie (@thekellydiet)

½ cup Brew Dr. Mint Lemonade Kombucha
1 cup frozen mango chunks
Squeeze of fresh lemon wedge
Garnish with piece of ginger root
