As a Certified B Corporation and 1% For the Planet member, we’re committed to continually lessening our impact on the environment. In an industry full of single-use plastics, we choose to minimize our plastic footprint by packaging our kombucha in glass bottles, aluminum cans, and stainless steel kegs. While our production stream is not completely plastic-free, we’re always learning and improving - from using 100% post-consumer recycled plastics in our multi-serve can toppers to implementing rigorous recycling programs in our offices and production facilities.
To further progress our sustainability efforts, we’re proud to partner with 5 Gyres, a thought-leading organization that uses first hand scientific research to drive change and implement solutions to solve the global plastic pollution crisis. As part of this partnership, we’re thrilled to make a donation that will fund 2 ambassadors on 5 Gyres’ annual research expedition, where they will monitor microplastics on land and sea, and work with local non-profits to highlight the scale of the plastic pollution issue.
