Job Title: Accounting Manager

Purpose: The Accounting Manager will work closely with the Controller to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. This person will have an interest in working to collaboratively build new policies and procedures to ensure audit-ready financials across multiple entities.

Reports to: Controller

Job Duties:

  • Assist in all day-to-day accounting functions through month-end close
  • Emphasis on GAAP reporting across multiple entities
  • Provide training, supervision and leadership to accounting staff
  • Assist the Controller with preparing financial statements
  • Perform regular period-end closing responsibilities including, but not limited to, journal entries, expense review, accruals and intercompany transactions and balancing
  • Review balance sheet, general ledger accounts, and income statement schedules
  • Work with AR and AP teams to build efficient processes across business units
  • Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year-end close
  • Ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met
  • Ensure compliance with required internal controls
  • Support the organization through reviews and audits
  • Be a strong internal resource for accounting department
  • Assist with projects and other tasks as needed

Candidate should have:

  • BA in Accounting or 5+ years of accounting experience
  • CPA preferred
  • Experience with multiple entities and food and beverage preferred
  • Experience working within an advanced ERP platform
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office with proficiency in Word, Excel and Power Point
